Default Hallelujah!!

Finally, I'm up and running. Netscape can be a real pain sometimes. Thanks mom and dad for the feedback, beats waiting for Mark to get home from work...YEAH!!

Yesterday was my last day on the ‘Induction Phase' of my diet, and I’m still feeling great, despite the cold I have…UGH!! I’m still moderately purple and my energy is still improving. My cold tires me out a bit, but it’s not dragging me down. I go on to the OWL phase now. I’m still going to watch my carbs carefully, even though I can increase them a little. I don’t want to ruin what I’ve accomplished up to this point. According to Atkins, I have an ‘average’ resistance. I've lost another 1”BWH. Here are my “END OF INDUCTION STATS” --

Current Weight: 260/253/251
Pounds lost or gained: minus 2 lbs. (9 lbs. total)

That was weighing myself at 4:30 this AM when I woke up -- cold -- I went back to sleep and woke up at 8:00 and the scales read 250, instead of 251. I'm sticking with 251 though, till 250 stays awhile

Have a great one!!

P.S. I've been having some gas pains in my abdomen -- any suggestions? The usually method doesn't seem to be working and I'm not sure if an over-the-counter aid would hurt or hinder. Thanks.

Wow! Congrats! You're gonna beat me to 250, looks like I'm glad things are working so well for you!

I've got the nasty head cold thing going on, too...blech.

SAM Tigress..

I thought I would pass along some great advice I received when I first started...

In the weight record area of your profile. If you list more than current/loss/goal.. like you have.. you do not get to see your percentage loss... which in your case is great.. plus it's a great incentive in general.

PLUS everyone recommends you split your goal into smaller segments.. so you can have 'win's' along the way...

Just a few good tips I received!!!

Ramona

Thanks Ramona for the tip. I'll pass that along to my mom also, WAWTigress. Your support is great.

Sh'ra - My cold is still hanging in there...UGH!! Hope you are better. By the way, this is the one time beating someone to 250 is a good thing, right?! - LOL So, which one of us do you think will reach 200 first? Hang in there girl -- you're doing great yourself!! We'll be dazzling them all before you know it!!

SamT,
Yep, still got the cold, but it's better - just sniffly now, but for a few days there it was pretty miserable. Went off my low carb a tad over the weekend, but I'm back, with some minor adjustments. Put a teeny bit of fruit in (berries) and took a bit of cheese out (stalling me) - also have added more salad vegis. We'll see what happens

Congratulations again on reaching the 250 goal!

Sh'ra

Cool Hi Sh'ra

Sh'ra,

Glad to hear you are doing better. I think I've finally beat mine -- YEAH!! I can actually breathe now.

I managed to stick with the diet while sick, but I didn't eat much -- no appetite. I'm getting back to normal though. I'm also including a few berries here and there. I probably need to back off on the cheese a little, just to see how it affects me.

Keep up the good work.
