Default Is Albuterol a diet drug/ does it change thyroid levels?

The drs associated with my insurance are very poor and I have gotten no where with health issues for 2 years.

So years have gone by trying to treat my thyroid. I have a goiter, I had a thyroid scan, they changed my medication nothing has worked. Finally the dr said she has no idea cancelled my medication refills and referred me to an endo she found in her insurance book. That was in May, insurance never approved it.

I went to a specialist on my own, she had me take my temps 4x a day for a week. Said she expected my thyroid levels to be higher for the amount of medication I was taking and my temps were lowish. Waking temp averaged 97.2. I was going to do a reverse T3 test. I had a massive asthma attack. I was in bed for 8 days and using the rescue inhaler (albuterol) every 6 hours. I was eating a very junky diet but only eating once a day. Often felt hot and hands were sweating.

Took rT3 test today, took my temp, pulse and weighed for the first time since that asthma attack. My temp is 98.1 first thing in the morning and 99.5 tonight. I was surprised that I hadn't gained a pound since I was eating a ton more carbs.

When I google albuterol it is a thermogenic that raises temps and burns fat.

Now I'm wondering if the asthma attack and my using albuterol could mess up my thyroid test.

Never mind. Woke up freezing cold temp 96.5. Guess it was a fluke.
