Most people don't recommend that you stick to a meat/egg fast for more than 5 days or so.

And no, you likely won't continue to lose weight at the same rate if you do stay on it longer. Depending on how you go back to eating, you may or may not put the weight back on. For instance, if you start back by adding a salad a day for a couple of days and make your way back to induction level carbs for a specified period of time and then continue on through the other phases of whichever plan you're using you may very well keep of the weight you've lost and even lose more.

As an aside, many people (myself included) find that they lose weight better or at a quicker rate if they follow their chosen plan as perscribed, as sometimes higher carb levels are beneficial to weightloss. For instance, I do much better losing at 30-40g/day than I do at 20.

Good luck!

Default That's interesting!

I'm just starting to slow down on weight loss, and considered a meat & egg fast for the stall that I just know is coming. How long would you recommend I stall before starting the fast? Or at all? Yes, I'm new, but sincere.
