Lori- the Gravy is the one in the jar. I used 2 jars- it was way to much- I ended up dumping half the liquid. 1 jar would be delightful. Also I cut my roast into chucks like Trig suggested! It was delish!

My Bella loved the carrot- I cooked mine in the IP- for 90 minutes then let it stay on the warmer for another 2hours just because I wasn't hungry. The beef was perfect! Did you see the pic! Yum yum

Leeann- I think it's cool you and the hubby do dates! So important!
ICK on the sleet coming your way! Are you as OVER winter as the rest of us? I NEVER hear you complain about weather.

I hear determination in your writing to get back to your LC comfort zone!
I heard that movie was good!

Good Morning!

Well.....here goes. I'm up and dressed for boot camp. Step one. It is a balmy 19 degrees this morning. A chance of snow showers or freezing rain later today. Yippee. I have to work tonight from 4-10. Hoping I don't have to slide my way to or from work!

I'll check in with you all later if I survive boot camp. Would I rather stay here holding my cat....yes! Can I do that....No! it's time to get this rusty, old body moving again.

Here I gooooooooooo!!!!

Wowsa was it HARD to get up this morning. I am loving my sleeping in. Life is to short to sit in a cubby all day! I was so comfortable tucked under a heavy comforter. I absolutely love my bed, and pillows. I bought my bed about 2 years ago, so it is fairly still new.

I bought all new pillows a couple months ago too! Some stuff worth every dime- my bed was one of them. It's a hybrid, the beauty rest black series. sighhhhhhhhhh...... guess I need to push forward.

Lori- I see you are up and out the door! Good for you! You will be back in the groove before you know it. Why do you pick the 530 bootcamp rather than another time? Because you have developed a team with that group?
Let us know how that goes!

Trig- did you do your treadmill yesterday? I kept my promise- I worked out here for 20 minutes, and it was HARD! I walked and used 5 pound weights, and did stretches.
I had a ton of leftovers! Did you see my meat pic!

Blue- where are ya darlin!? Hope you are resting and getting yourself squared up. When does your hubby take his vacay? I am sure you will fill up your time with your gal pals!

Leeann- Are you still using your IP as much? Are you planning anything for Spring? You have been quite about any upcoming trips.
Or is all your energy going to the wedding? Have you thought about a dress yet? What colors are they going with? When is the date?

Kmom- Are we doing water counting this week? I finished up Sun 5/5. I m buying water and then put out every morning what I need to drink. I find it is much easier to get in when it is preplanned like that.
One would think water would be so easy to frekin drink right?! But I don't do tap!
You get the SD next weekend I remember you saying. Any special plans?
--------------------------------------------
I am taking in pot roast for lunch and will have chili dogs for dinner! Food made and done!
Why I gained 2 pounds is beyond me! I am going to just weigh every Monday and be over it.

We have rain moving in today- no freezing though. Which I can deal with. But yet they cancelled school JUST IN CASE!!!!

I just love my co-workers/staff. So I got a text yesterday from a gal who told me to bring my cooler to work. She is bring me homemade sausage! She said it's the best she has ever had- and a family recipe! MORE MEAT! Skip the cake, bring me pork! HAHAHAH

Ok- everybody have a great day! Who is watching the game tonight?

PS- did any of you see the Globes last night and Oprahs speech? I wonder is she knows how powerful she is. She also has never let her weight stop her, even though she has struggled with it her entire life. It was something!

I am home, showered, face on for the day and collapsed into my recliner.

My hips hurt already. I have a feeling I'll be chugging Advil this afternoon so I can stand at work all evening. By tomorrow afternoon I will most likely be crying when I have to move. I noticed a change in my flexibility, so it was way past time to get back to it.

Jaz, I go to the early class because I am up anyway and I "know" the people that go at that time. We have become friends of sorts. Hard to explain, but when I have gone at other times, the people are nice, but it's just not the same.

Ok....time for some coffee and some relaxing. Have great days!

KM, wow that was alot of emerg. vehicles etc. in your neighborhood, yes that would wire me up also!

I use the Heinz Homestyle in a jar for gravy. Best one I think out of the small selection we have in the stores around here for jarred gravy. I bought like 12 of them for the pantry when they hit on sale during T-Day time. Should last me close to a year or so

Your exercise is great, that 'something popped' is not so great!!! Hope you feel better fast on that!!

Nicco your night out sounds great!

The Sous Vide way, alot of zc'ers use that for their steaks, say it is tops to make it. I never bothered trying it yet. Very cool you are experimenting on it.

We MIGHT get some sleet/freeze rain sometime today so school is cancelled. omg! it is sunny and nice outside right now!! Like 1 cloud in the sky who knows

Lori ya left and got back before I posted
I couldn't sleep last night. Monster sinus headache, the one with the iron poker up the back of my neck and into my eyeball on one side--yes I live with this ---but I got to bed at 3 and up at 6 from the phone call saying school is cancelled for possible icy times today...but the sunny day out there is blowing my eyes out BIG OLD nap for this old gal later.
I bet your body is shocked to the max hitting boot camp again!

Jaz, yea the daily scale means nothing. Up 2, down 1, Up 2, down 1 and then maybe down 1 and up 3 --HA HA--thing is YOU LOST A SIZE and always remember that. No carbs means you will slowly become a way smaller version of yourself at a higher weight. Things like gravy etc will add water kinda weight on ya for sure....but I never even think of it. My rare use of some things do change the scale a bit but key is they are SO little in that dept. that your body eventually just lets ya trim down so you hold strong on your eating and you will be in a very very fine place. Heck every 2 weeks or a month is better for that stupid scale!!

I will do a 'Walk Away the Pounds' tape with Leslie. Kiddo is in the backroom with the treadmill ALL day since school cancelled due to possible icy rain (with beautiful sunny skies out there now of course!) and she is playing Xbox with her online chat friends. She will hang there all day so I will do something else and not bother her with the noise.

Glad you are up and moving and doing!! One thing we all need more, to move our butt thru this horrible cold winter. Winter just shuts me down SO much. ugh.

Hey all
today is kid home due to possible icy roads....yea, super sunny and nice out, they could log in a 1/2 a have this day covered for sure. They only need 3.5 hrs of school per day to call it complete and full. Whatever tho, she is happy being home of course HAHA

Told hubby he could quit work now if he wants.
He said no cause he wants to get his hip X-ray'd and maybe MRI if needed. He thinks his back problems are coming now from the hip?? Who knows, whatever at this friggin' point. I told him take the extra 6 months off I am offering him, heal up more and then see if he needs to go further on med crap and he said he wants it covered under this insurance. So whatever I guess. The idiot will keep walking 12 hrs on concrete a day instead of heal up and relax. I swear I don't get it one bit!!

I just booked San Antonio trip for March 28 to April 10-11-12-13? Who knows when the heck I will come home Kiddo is March 30 to April 9 off for spring break. Our campground is right near River Walk and has the bike trail to the missions and riverwalk right next to it so this should be a great location. This is a party time trip/sight see etc. We usually go veg and relax on the beach etc in state parks and just chill in nature mostly.....with kayak and swim and fish. This is pool in the cg and all about seeing the Alamo, missions, museums and Riverwalk and more. Hubby wants to try to squeeze in a Jeep 4X4 Off Road adventure up a mountain into it if we can.

I say not sure when we come home cause it is leave the CG on April 8 and it is a 3 day (kinda easy drive), could push it to 2 but don't want to stress on it but driving home is always so much more tiring, I might just stop at the coast of Alabama for a few days or something. I don't care about blowing kiddo out of school at all. So close to end of year for her. Don't have to worry about hubby's vacay days or worried about his work etc since he is quitting a few months after this trip anyway.....so my mind is on FREEDOM to do what we want on the way back on this trip. F it ya know Kinda our terms, our timeline and blow off the rest of the world kinda thoughts

ok off to get this day happening.

food is bacon cheese omelet later for brunch time
leftover big old delish ribs I made yesterday in the oven--oh so yum
I do have one last bowl of my chuck roast to eat up, might have that with just some bacon instead of the eggs and cheese in there who knows.
have to pull out some meat from the freezer for defrost for my next few meals, hmm, what will I choose

great day all

Lori- Good on you for getting up and going! I hope that doing all this exercise at once doesn't end up being too much for your hips or feet, but you know your body and what it can take, and you have an awesome goal!

Jaz- the cold has sucked here but what can ya do, you know? Very little snow as of yet this season, as it has been for the last several years. I have been huddled under my heated blankets (with my Bella sharing it) and that seems to do the trick.

How nice that your coworker is bringing you sausage! It is pure karma, you are kind and generous with your coworkers and they return the favor. Your boss could take some notes from you!

What is your back up plan if you don't find a place you want to buy? I am assuming you need to allow time for a closing to happen and you said you have to be out by when?

Hugs to everyone else!

•••••••••

First week of induction is over and I'm down a little over five pounds. Awesome! Of course the first week is the most rapid weight loss and mostly water. We all know that. The real work is ahead.

I did well- not perfect but pretty darn close. I'm really satisfied with how this first week has gone.

DS16 is driving me a bit batty right now. He is likely a very typical teenager but holy heck is he self-absorbed. He has the hardest time seeing his part or responsibility in any situation but he sure is quick to point out everyone else's flaws! Geesh! He is smart and logical but in this area he is just TONE DEAF. I got so mad at him this weekend that I told him he better find the most patient and tolerant woman in the world if he ever wants to get married. You can imagine how that went over!

I think DS19 and I will go pick up his sport coats today, and I also need to do some minor shopping for groceries and maybe we will grab lunch. We'll see what he feels up to doing.

Jaz asked about trips. I will be doing a weekend in Philadelphia with DD22 in mid February, then the big 25th anniversary trip with DH at the end of February. Nothing on tap for Spring Break at the moment. I will be accompanying DH somewhere at the end of June, I think Chicago, plus a loose plan to join some friends in San Diego this summer.

I also want to do one trip toward my 50 states by 55 Goal, so it might be OK/KS/NM or it could be ND/MT/ID/OR although Oregon looks so lovely that it might be its own trip.
HI will be in 2020 and Alaska after that, and that will be all 50.

Cold weather breaks after today. Yay!

Trig....San Antonio sounds awesome! I have been there twice. It is a lot of fun. I like having your return open-ended. Just see where the wind blows you!

Nic....Oregon is fabulous!! A couple years ago we flew to Seattle and then drove down the Oregon coast all the way to northern California. What a great trip. We stayed at some lovely B & B's along the way and saw so much beautiful scenery. The coast is just awe inspiring.

Well a couple hours until I have to get ready for work. Make-up is done, so just have to throw on my clothes. Yoga pants, a hoodie & sneakers...some work uniform, huh?

Later!

Leeann- Your trips sounds very fun! Just how many have you been to. Does driving THROUGH a state count? See Kanas would be that one for me- OHHHHHH AHHHHHHH- ok done! That stop light was cool! Although- Kansas City might be a cool stop- then OUT!

Ok- here is the issue- you are dealing with a 15.5 year old BOY/MAN- - they do come back around eventually. Plus he is your Eyeore! They are wired different!

YAY on knocking out 5 pounds and kicking induction!!!!! Water or not- take it and run!!!! YOU GO!!!!

Trig- OMG these southern people are a hoot sometimes when it comes to the weather. All the schools were close due to the POSSIBILITY of sleet. It never happened. We got RAIN about noon and raining light rain all day.
But dang Chicken Little was forecasting last night.

I can sorta get that your hubby wants to figure out what is wrong before he loses insurance. That stuff is SO $$$$$$$$ -get it done and use it while he has it. Then he can go- but use it to the fullest until its gone. What will he do after he quits about insurance?

Loving your look on life. FREEDOM- Can't even fathom that. Maybe someday for me. I am thinking when my degree done- I want to step back and do something I like rather than for money.

Lori- Good for you getting back into your groove. Yes Ibuprofen in your future!!!!!! It won't be long until you get it back- not at all!
Hang in there!
--------------------------------------
Great day- Worked on work- an did a bit of homework on my spare time. That is now my story for a few years. I connected with another co-worker via IM from work that works for same company and in my class. That was really cool.

Not much else! I got 2 packs of sausage and a large pack of pork chops! YUM- thank you my co-worker! SO sweet! I love my staff!

Big ol bowl of chili/ hot dogs for dinner. hotdogs/ topped with chili- good and full. Nitrate free!

lunch was light- left over chicken wings I made.
tomorrow - left over pot roast- then I will freeze everything for a later time.

A frenzy here in Atlanta with the game!!!!! Trump will be here too! Wonder what his wife will wear. 10 bucks say's she will be in stilettos. HAHAHAH- Rain, football and all!

Ok- all going to work on a paper!

Oh- To answer your question Leeann- if time comes and I need more time I will store my stuff- and stay in a hotel a block from where I work until I an close SOMEWHERE!

Good Morning!

Was hoping for a bit more sleep this morning as I didn't get home from work until 10:30 and not into bed until nearly 11:30. Unfortunately, "someone" had other ideas and I'm up at my normal 4:30. Feeling a bit achy from boot camp, but it will no doubt get worse as today goes on. Today's plan calls for an easy walk at some point. The only thing on my agenda is to go get my hair trimmed and make a trip to the grocery store.

I finally had my phone interview with the corporate security guy at work and I'm officially a Customer Service Specialist. Big deal. All that means is that I have extra stuff to do and I'm involved with counting money at the end of the night etc. Also have override authority for transactions at the cash registers. It may mean a little more money, but nothing substantial. I've been doing most aspects of the job(except the register overrides) for a couple months. It just took awhile for the security guy to call me and get that part over with.

Jaz...how cool that you connected with someone from work taking the same course. Your eating sounds right on point. Lots of yummy meat! You guys talking about chili & hot dogs is making me hungry for it! I'm going to make some chili this weekend since I have off.

Ok gang. Make it a good day!

Urghhhhhhhh...... Cold medicine hangover..... I couldn't breathe outta my nose last night. It doesn't feel like a cold. More just cold, and sniffling weather. So I took some cold meds- it had me wired - trouble sleeping. So I am not moving real fast this morning.

If I didn't have to be at work today I would take a sick day. But I have to. Why? I spent some hours yesterday writing my first paper and emailed to myself at work to pretty up before I submit it.
I am having some user issues with my MAC. I have also downloaded a office word for Mac- but it is a little different. And it IS the little differences that got me frustrated over this paper last night. It is DUE tomorrow.

I feel good that I won't need to do much more to it. Just clean it up and whip out my APA manual- for proper citation.
The content however was really interesting.

It was a simulation that I was in charge of a city that had a train derailment with a chemical spill. So I had to pick people from different organizations in the community to assist in the disaster. So I had to pick 10- then narrow it down to 5 and give my rational for who I picked and why. Of course I picked the Fire and police chief, then the director of the Red Cross, also a community organizer and school principal. The principal, because the trail derailed behind a school, in the simulation. It really was fun- except the little grammar details.
You know the type of STITCH! Making my quilt!!!one paper, one stitch at a time.

Yesterday was a great WOE day. Easy- pot roast, and chili dogs.
I have thinking about one more day of it before I freeze the leftover. I can only eat the same thing so many meals in a row! I might go for chicken today actually.

What a stunning game last night- what a lose in overtime! WOW OH WOW! Maybe next year for Georgia!

Lori- are you back at Bootcamp? I know what you mean by the flexibility piece. I don't know how our bodies go from a mean lean machine to - flabby and stiff almost over night! Glad you are back at it!

Trig- more recipes please! Warm weather is coming your way! Did your pool freeze? The complex pool did!!!! I saw it yesterday and was shocked.
Does your kiddo shop online?

Leeann/ Blue/ Kmom- Not forgotten out of time! Will catch up this afternoon! Have a great day ladies!!!

Nicco I love the 50 by 55!! I sure missed that one tho.
Hubby is like we can fly anywhere and do anything when we want and I said nope, I been a few places, now I just want to drive the RV at our leisure and see our country. All of it. Park it in storage and take a short cruise over to HI will be my only time I won't be staying in it while traveling If I see it all I will hit all of Canada, PEI and more and if that gets done then down to Mex. and to CR...I think I might run out of time doing all this LOL

DS16, good luck with that!

Lori so funny you are now a 'Specialist' yet you have been doing most of that job title already Hey but now it is official and you can do an override at the register which is fab cause they never have enough people to do that, worst is when you need one and they have to call someone who takes forever to come with the key to override LOL

Tackling a 10K is huge to me. Never a runner here, but I just don't remember you being a jogger type? Did you always run? I know you bootcamp and more with walking everywhere, like golf and trips and more, but never remember you mention you are a jogger, 10K type gal....this isn't the first time right? just wondering, can't remember.

Jazz so hear ya on the cry wolf with school down here in the south
No rain til about 4:30 and it sure wasn't freezing rain at all and school was cancelled and this morning is 2 hr delay. Hey whatever LOL ya gotta just go with the flow.

yea my pool is kinda frozen Worst is I shut off my auto heater water unit for the goats since there are only 2 now, why bother keeping it on and using power, but now I have to go down every day and dump the ice in the water bucket for them, which is good tho, it actually MAKES me get out of the house and I have to go and feed them anyway thru this cold so....

You sound so darn busy Jaz! I hope you get some good listings for homes to check soon.

Another biggie I love is my chicken alfredo....or you can do shrimp alfredo...or any darn meat/seafood you like alfredo sauce over Do you like it??? Basic alfredo sauce is so simple to make or ya can really just buy a jar of one good brand and use it. It doesn't take alot of alfredo sauce in the meal. Hollandaise sauce etc...kinda look into all of those options. Any sauce used sparingly is not 'food' truly, it is looked at more of a garnish thing and most zc'ers use what they love, but sparingly again of course. But you can't go into the high sugar sauces like some BBQs and things.

kiddo don't shop anywhere...she has 0 interest in clothes. I just gave her $100 to spend on Xbox enhancement games for Overwatch, plus $50 from the other day.....HA HA HA...that is how she wastes money! she got time tho, being 12 she has a few more years I think then it will flip over into something so different

We will have insurance. We are doing Christian Healthcare Ministry. Yup, alternative to high priced ins. Since hubby will be making 'less' than we have to make in income to get 'Obama free' covereage (heck which will all be changing due to Trump next year anyway), we are going with CHM. $450 a month for family unit, plus $300 a year for the 'extra Gold program' with $1,500 deductible for family unit. I am going to go 'way way out of the box' on our health care ins. and see what goes down There are 4 big Christian healthcare biz out there but I like the CHM. So yea he can easily be covered but he wants it under this insurance? When ins. is settled with the govt and see where it lands in a few years, if it is a good price vs. the CHM choice, or if CHM is bad etc. I will re-evaluate then. I am just trying to get my azz to medicare stage ya know HA HA-- What gets me is if we do this trip in early April if he quits now at work he could be SO much more better for walking etc. Heck he quit riding bikes now. Bikes kill him and at San Antonio kiddo and me are biking the mission trails for sure but not hubby. stubborn. You would NEVER have to ask me twice to quit work if I could LOL

Blue, where is Blue?

KM hope all is going well your way!!!

Hey all
2 hr school delay
EDITED TO SAY----school just called...now a 3 hr delay due to possible icy roads..........this now screws up taking in the car etc. with hubby. Will see how it all works out with her bus coming at 10:30 am and the car is to be there at 10? I am sure it will work cool tho............

taking my SUV in for paint job on some small chips. came free to get paint chip touch up when I bought it, so they will paint up the few teeney weeney areas. I hate anything with cars!
Little of this and that today, nothing stellar. Just waiting out the cold.

Last sale on crab legs was only at 9.99/lb. Irks me I can't find my 5.99/lb cost but I bet that is now long gone.

But seafood is on my mind so I am gonna just go for it and buy a few bags and dump the money into it. I mean it is food for me, , I am worth it ya know

nothing much more, everyone have a fab day

Lori, what you are describing is what I think I would want to do, along with a National Park stop and maybe a bit into Northern California. So that will have to be next year or so.

Congrats on your step up! I know it isn't much pay but who knows, you might be manager-bound at the rate you are going. Is that something you might want to do?

Jaz- I have seven states remaining. Technically six since I was in NM as a child, but if I am going to go to Kansas and Oklahoma then I may as well do something enjoyable and stop in New Mexico. For me, I have to have eaten a meal or done something in that particular state, boots on the ground, for it to count. No drive throughs or connecting planes. For example, on our big summer trip, I wanted to count Nebraska, so we hit the edge of it (deliberately) and saw Carhenge, and ate lunch. About three hours total but it met my criteria for spending time in that state.

Good for you on getting your paper done. See if you can find your Mac answers online so that you wouldn't have to go into work again. Pretty much anything can be answered online just by googling your question. One stitch at a time!

Georgia- Alabama game sounds crazy exciting. Bummer about the Bulldogs loss but it was close!

Trig- So do you think you won't fly anywhere, ever again? Only go to places that can be driven to? Another goal I have which if for after the first one is to go every continent. Maybe by 70?

I am going to be so mad at myself when you answer this, but what are PEI? I assume Pacific something Islands... OK, forget that, I just took my own advice to Jaz and looked it up. Honestly I had never heard of them (it?) For those who also might not have known, Prince Edward Island(s).

Good point on using sauces as a means to change things up. I don't think of this as often as I should.

Yah, I know your kiddo isn't so into clothes but I thought you guys were going shopping for tops the other day. Maybe you all didn't make it out.

••••••••••••••••

Two hour delay here today. For so little actual snow and such, we sure have had a lot of missed school! Only two full days since January 2nd. This warm up period looks like it should take care of all that for a while though.

MoW going on this morning once I get DS16 to school at 10. Then I will swing by the store on the way back- we are out of milk and some other stuff. There was no way I was going in the wet and cold yesterday so I just told everyone to suck it up. I don't drink milk so whatever.

Still washing all the dishes by hand - dishwasher is coming on Thursday some time. Yay!

Still on plan with induction and it is going very well and no issues.

I can see that this/ being LC again is doing work on my hormones. I've been more emotional than usual the past few days and have had some staining. My poor fam has had some tears and such to contend with as my hormones try to settle themselves out. Ugh. TOM due Sunday.

My last meal was at 2:30pm yesterday and it's about 9 AM now so I should go see if anything works for me. I'm not hungry, necessarily, but I'll be gone for several hours.

Water Hounds

Yep, Water Hounds is on this week! Please post water from yesterday (Monday). And please try to remember to always post the DAY in front of the water count. Just makes it so much easier for me. Thanks!

You know, even if you see a 4/5 for me, that is a victory. If I was not being intentional about this, I think you would probably see 1/5 or 2/5 most days. I am just not a water drinker and do not think about it during the day. I don't think my "thirst valve" is very strong...and maybe does not even work well some days. The only time I can remember being thirsty lately was when I was weeding in the garden aa while back during the hottest part of the day. I started to get thirsty, but kept weeding because I was almost done with a particular section. So on and on I pulled weeds until it was clear. Stood up and realized I was VERY thirsty! Luckily, had a water bottle on a chair a little ways away. Sat down and drank quite a bit and as I was drinking my heart went out (A-Fib)! So that is why I am pretty sure dehydration is a trigger for my A-Fib. Speaking of A-Fib, I have been in normal sinus rhythm for almost five months!

I think I will try to make that Alfredo more often. I am glad you have shared recently how you "garnish" your meats. I had pictured you just eating the meat straight up. Now a good steak would be fine doing it that way! I am wondering if you might like the Chicken Lazone. Man, I can make it now with my eyes closed! I am going to make up a big batch of the spices mixture so that will be ready. All you do is coat the chicken in the spices and then add HWC and then butter. You can google it if you are interested. My recipe said you would be tempted to lick the plate because the sauce is that good! I agree! I made it for my daughter and her family when they were living here a few days a couple of weeks ago and they LOVED it! Can you have the spices on ZC? Onion Powder, garlic powder, and chili powder. You can google the recipe if you are interested.

Yes, you are worth it! Man, if you were eating crap, think about how much money you would be spending on chips, ice cream, candy and fast food joints...etc. I am amazed at how much I save. I know you still buy some higher carb stuff for your family, but with YOU not eating it, it saves you quite a bit of money!

When you get to Medicare age, make sure you get Part D. Even if you are not taking meds at the time)! Even if you do not think you will get sick! It is just not a good gamble. I was just looking at my Walgreens print out for 2017 (for taxes) and was reminded of the first month of drug charges from my A-Fib. Over $700.00!!!!! For one month! Now, I do also have to say that you can join a Part D plan in the middle of the year, so that will rescue you a little if something happens. It helped me big time, but now that I am on a strong 2018 plan for Part D, it is so much better!!! Anyway, sorry for the lecture, but I sure learned the hard way. Thought I was invincible. No meds for like 10 years. Only a vitamin. And then...SMACK!

Love how "Seafood is on your mind" instead of hot fudge sundaes, french fries (insert your favorite crap food .

Hope it all worked out today with your schedules. Blue and I are getting a real zinger Thursday....5-8 inches and blizzard conditions. Hope Blue's hubby has not left yet.

Again, I think it speaks volumes about who you are as a person and your work ethic that they are giving you more responsibilities. I agree with Nic that management may be in their sights. And yet, you might not be interested in that. Lots more pressure and stress. I know from the beginning you have seen things that you know could be run better.

I am getting old. I scroll down to your post to read it again, and by the time I scroll back up, I have forgotten what I read! Anyway, when do you need to start training for the 10K? Do you have it all mapped out? Have you done that long of run before? I was a runner when I was younger. Hubby and I ran together. Then weight creeped on and I became a walker. I still picture myself running again.

How can you make it on five hours sleep? I usually get nine! I would be dragging big time. I am not a morning person and I am not a night person. But I go strong during the day, IF I have enough sleep! I think you average
about seven hours or less. Right?

Hope you have a good day. Will you maybe take a nap? Seems like it is a nice restful day for you with only a hair trim and grocery run planned.
