Default Indian Chicken curry

I make chicken curry this way and it tastes great. I used to put little sugar in it but replaced sugar with splenda now.
Ing:
1 LB chicken (pieces BL or WB)
1 midsize onion cut into small pieces
1 tsp ginger paste/fresh ginger cut into small pieces
1 tsp garlic paste/fresh garlic cut into small pieces
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander power
1/2 tsp paparika
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (this is added just for the bright yellow color. you can go without it as well. if you want to, then you can get it in any indian grocery store)
1 tomato cut into chunky pieces

Put some olive oil into a large cooking pan. when it is hot put the onions, fry till golden brown. Add ginger and garlice paste, fry for some for time.
Add chicken pieces, tomato, all the powders, cook for some time till the tomato blends nicely. Add some water till it boils. Let it boil till chicken becomes tender. Enjoy.

Thank you for the recipe...I made this for dinner a few nights ago! It was great...I added some chopped green pepper and sliced jalapeno after the garlic and ginger too!

I like easy recipes like this, and want to try it.... just wondering, there's no curry in your chicken curry? Is that an oversight?

Never mind, just noticed the date on original post.
