I am asking because both Candice (Candiflip) and I have both recently had our photos stolen, and used as before and afters for a diet pill based weightloss plan/company, and sent out to countless people through Groupon and LivingSocial. They were taken from another forum, but the same thing could have easily happened from here (although it is good that they are watermarked here at the bottom, but it's small and easily cropped out if they wanted to use them).

hi Krystal,
I'm sorry this happened to you and Candice . The thing is .. our gallery has only ever been viewable to logged in members. Unlogged guests will just get an error message. However .. anyone can register with an anonymous name and email address. We have no way of knowing if "John or Jane Doe at hotmail.com" is legit or not.
The gallery software authomatically adds the lowcarber.org watermark to each image, however that doesn't indicate "ownership" of the image. *You* are the owner and copyright holder of your own images, therefore you have the right to contact anyone who's using your images without consent to demand they be removed. I suggest you email the webmaster or owner of that diet pill site ASAP. If they don't comply within a reasonable period of time, you can forward your complaint to their host server. This could result in having them shut down .
