slwloser, I have, over the past year, lost just about a pound a month. The last "diet" I was on, though, I lost 5 lbs in 3 years.

So, I'm good, you know?

Inspirational Ken! Great job in putting into words how this lifestyle is life changing in many more ways than one. So proud of and for you and happy for you and your family that you've chosen to live life to the fullest on your own terms.

I love the way you documented your progress so meticulously, Ken, and appreciate the time and effort you put into that. The picture of your nails is such powerful evidence in itself...how can the USDA powers-that-be possibly ignore this clear evidence that the LCHF WOE you've chosen is nutritionally sound and effective for weight loss and optimum health...?! Maybe this pic, with the annotation of course, should be your cover sheet for the documents you're submitting to them. Powerful story.

Ken, may I post the pic of your fingernail on my FB page? I am urging my friends to sign the 11-point petition to the USDA and think your pic will get their attention.

If you think it will help go right ahead. But personal, my family can't believe that I posted a photo of my toe online. They think dad is a little nuts. I just saw it as something pretty darn cool and a testimony to my new WOE.

I agree. The change is dramatic and it is clearly not cosmetic but from a basic change in some factor that is important to your body for its best performance, repairs and maintenance -- and your note identifies just what that changed factor is. So important. Thanks for letting me use it. (And you can tell your kids that Dad's toenail is getting great press. )
