Hi everyone, I just started the Atkins plan today. I chose this forum because I had my cholesterol checked just last week and I am scared to death with the results.
Years and years of not watching anything has got me to this point.
I need the encouragment that this forum can provide. I have told my doctor that I would prefer not to go on the meds and try to lower it with diet and exercise. Not sure if this is smart or not.
I have a retest in 6 months, should I see results from diet by then?
