Not a great day. I had a blood sugar crash (down to 3.3/60) and went for DH's chips. It was the only remotely-palatable thing; I was feeling really nauseous. I hate that I feel like this every time I'm on the edge of losing weight. I wish I could just plow through it - and at least yesterday was Saturday - but I can't be having that happen on a work day. Ketosis with ample food = fine, but ketosis with enough restriction to lose weight = no bueno.

An extraneous walk to the grocery store yesterday. I scored a cross rib roast for $5. That'll be Instant-Potted today or tomorrow to enjoy the rest of the week.

Day 68 of 90

Goal of this challenge: Simply to tally how well I do sticking to my diet plan over the next 90 days.

Good days: 39
So-so eating: 18
Off the mark: 11
~~~~~~~~~~
Late snacks: 22
Busy weekend - 3 so-so days logged with 1 day eating late. I ate nothing but good OP food - portions within reason. I didn't log my food. Carbs were good -- no bad news with the scale. I find that my diligence and resolve to hit the mark on this challenge comes and goes. I'm still not making any progress with the scale. But I'm doing well enough to maintain. That may not be what I want, but it is much better than the alternative. I'm eating better than I was this time last year. I'm not slowly gaining.
Less-than-ideal day because I had some soup at work that was not LC, but it was about the only thing I found palatable. Other food was good, plus the fact that I actually declined to eat dinner when I made it for my DH because I wasn't hungry. I waited a while and had something different (better than hot dogs.) I'm not usually up to cook twice, but the George Foreman grill solves that problem sometimes.
I'm in that same boat, Ken. I remind myself how far ahead I am of my relatives when they were my age. I was also slowly gaining, and I like to think I've put the brakes on that... while still eating pretty darn good food. I've just had to stop being too sloppy about it.
That is a good practice. Simple and explicit. 90 days, 90 check-ins. Welcome IFnewstart
