Hi. I am working as a teacher in Canada and am going through menopause. I got rid of my hot flashes with the proper supplements a year ago, and now am just waiting for all of this to end. Meanwhile I am attempting to get control of this eating thing. I know everyone has their own version of what works for them and it is often a long road to discovering what that is. I want to lose 40 pounds and I know for me low carb clean eating works. I've tried high fat, IF, keto, very low calorie diets, paleo, carnivore, Stillmans, excessive exercise, being vegan and being a fruitarian. I also haven't seemed to be able to stick to any of these plans long which has resulted in a huge gain. I know I cant live without meat. I love dairy and bread but they don't love me. I've figured that out. I want to start a thread for people to encourage each other and weigh in and report food as often as they want on their journey to summer slimness. I am planning to do the stair master daily as my exercise until it gets nicer outside. I've learned that if i don't do some daily exercise, the scale doesn't move.
