Default 1 Year Anniversary of My LOWEST LOW 114 lbs

Today (16 November 2015) is day # 864 of my incredible journey and I’ve been in maintenance for 1 year + 9 months!

I was thinking yesterday about those pesky 2 lbs I'm still hanging onto since I broke my leg and I realized that TODAY is the anniversary of me hitting my ALL TIME LOW of 114 lbs!! I weighed 114 lbs on 16 November 2014 which means I had lost 151 lbs!

So basically, I have maintained my weight between 114-118 lbs (4 pounds I gained cause of the fractured tibia on 4 April) for an ENTIRE YEAR! That blows my mind!

I was in a wheelchair and on crutches from 4 April to 19 June. I was not allowed to put any weight on my broken leg until I got the okay from my orthopedic surgeon. When I weighed myself on 19 June, I weighed 118 lbs. So 4 lbs UP from 4 April. On 5 July, weight = 117 lbs and by 5 October, I had lost another 1 lbs, so DOWN to 116 lbs where I am currently staying!

Of course I am still eating 100% OP every single day but I AM so NOT stressing about those 2 pesky pounds. I am doing EVERYTHING under my CONTROL to lose the weight by eating properly every day and exercising. The one thing I have NO CONTROL over are those demonic infernal scales and how they react!

I remind myself since this is the "new improved totally 100% OP me" and I’m going to do this incredible LC WOE for LIFE, I will let the stress of losing or not losing go and I will end up where I’m supposed to be, which is a much healthier and thinner ME, however long that takes, eh? It's all downhill (in a good way) from here!!

My life and soul changing journey continues to Infinity & Beyond because I will BE a Warrior member of TEAM 5%...

Wishing everyone continued success on your personal journeys to better HEALTH!

Since you had already exceeded your original goal by 16 lbs, being 14 under goal is an amazing success story. And sitting in a wheelchair for over 2 months and only gaining 4--another success!

Congrats, Jo!

Who needs carbs, anyway? The 5% warriors sure don't. This is a terrific milestone Just Jo -- or should I say Super Jo or Awesome Jo, or Hero Jo? They all seem to fit what you are doing. Keep on keeping on Jo. I know you will.

Thanks for posting, MS!

Yeah the "wheelchair sitting" gave me fits the entire time...especially since I'm not much of a sitter. I'm always up and about. My posting buddy, Berni who also broke her leg around the same time, LOST weight! She told me that her OS said it wasn't unusual for peeps to gain 10-30 lbs or more...once they are completely sedentary! I was grateful I only gained the 4 lbs!

Shucks, Ken thanks for the kind words...

Dude, I'm but a neophyte compared to what others have accomplished on these threads. Not only the impressive weight loses, but the ability to have stayed in maintenance, some for decades ~ those are the true awesome super heroes of our LC World!!!

Thanks for posting Ken!
