Hi all

Wanted to share my recipe for pasta....

I used pastalia pasta, which is quite good, and here's the sauce:

Saute 2 cubed, boneless chicken breasts with some chopped red onion.
Add chopped red pepper, fresh garlic and sliced zuccinni.

After everything is tender, add 1/4 cup cream cheese and 1/2 cup whip cream or half/half. Spice with a little salt and pepper and basil. An oz of white wine or sherry adds nice flavour.

I just had this, and every time I make it, I can't believe how good it is

The recipe serves two, and over pastalia is very low carb...

What is pastalia pasta? What kind of store do you buy it in? The only lc pasta we have tried (cant't remember the name ...something Italian) tasted terrible and the texture was worse. My daughter would be thrilled with some pasta that didn't blow the whole weeks worth of carbs!

It's a LC pasta. I bought it in Canada at a convienance store...

If you can't get that kind there, try spagetti squash, I love it!

I made this tonight to have over dreamfields. I didn't have any of the veggoies, so the sauce was kind of bland. I cured this with some marsala wine. Between the wine and using a tad too much cream I had a really runny sauce so I used a sprinkling of thickin and thin. It turned out great.
