I gave it a try. My body won't let me do it! I got dizzy, had to sit down. I waited until the dizzy spell went away, and started my routine, but it hit me again in a little while so bad that I had to grab onto the desk so I wouldn't fall. I sat down and ate some cheese and mayo with some sliced ham. I didn't get dizzy again.

Well almost everyone fasts for ~12 hours (unless they get up in the middle of the night to snack) the IF regimen is just a process of slowly extending this time period. If you can't you'll be in a fix if you have to fast for a medical test, surgery or just get lost in the woods.

It doesn't work for me, but that doesn't make it a bad idea for anyone else.

I found that if I don't eat by 2 P.M., then I have no appetite for the rest of the day. By evening, even the idea of eating makes me feel ill. And the feeling becomes worse, until suddenly I realize that it has been days since I've eaten anything more substantial than a cup of coffee with cream.

But that's just me. As I said, it does not mean that IF is a bad idea for anyone else.

This is true...we all fast. Doing IF should be worked into your lifestyle. You can add an hour each day to your fasting period so that you won't become dizzy.

This is why I like this. You never know when you must fast regardless of what your body is capable of doing.
