Question fat burning pills???

Are fat burner pills such as Xenadrin or stackers recommended???
I've been told that they may stall the weight loss process due to the caffeine and the aspirin that is included in the pills, is this true, and if so is there anything that i may take to speed up my metabolism?? i am currently having a hard time loosing the weight eventhough i am following all the steps and keeping my carb count as low as possible.
Any insight will be greatly appreciated!!

Hello notaseeker,

Welcome to the board!

Before you resort to stacking, why don't you post what you've been eating. We may be able to give you some advice.

Are you a yo-yo dieter? This makes you more resistant to weight loss. It is also possible that you are not eating enough calories.

Karen

Question

I am sticking to only meats and salads, and lots of water, this is the first time I diet, so I've been told that my metabolism may be slow, so I try to keep my meals in small portions instead of large ones. Am I doing something wrong??

I used Adipokinetix and then Lipokinetix, two fat burners, when I was doing my CKD and I do not believe that they stalled me. Dan, what do you think about this one????

Default hmmm ...

Karen has made the right call on this one.

Before running to the supplements, it is best to see what calorie level a person is at, how long they have been there, what activity/exercise they are doing, etc.

If after all of those have been addressed, and stalls still happen ... THEN hit the "burners" -- IF appropriate (not everyone can take them)

With Fern, I knew we had 6 weeks until Hawaii, so I "fired all of the guns at once" with her program. And it did work like a charm ... but all of the above were built into the program.

I could get REALLY deep on this issue since there are about 5 steps to take once you start fat burners to ensure progrssive fat loss, but I am gonna just keep it simple ... for now. I have to go do my morning cardio ...

For more info on the fat burner products, see Tina's post in the DAILY section titled "Ripped Fuel".
