I always loved this site, I lost a ton of weight ( 80lbs) looked great felt great and gained it all plus some back, so here I am starting again, and thought what better way to start then with some others who are in the same boat.

I re-started on Monday....

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is still with us. Finally, yesterday, I had a sugar-alcohol free day. Ate about 1900 calories which is probably too high but fat was at 70% which is one of my goals. Tonight I'm going out to dinner with friends so hope I can maintain day 2. I got one of those healthy adult happy meals at MacDonalds that came with the pedometer thing that measures steps. I'm trying to work up to 10,000 steps a day which would be 5 miles. That's about the only exercise that I can get in is my normal walking throughout the work day. I'm so glad that there are a group of us struggling together. I guess misery loves company.?

Default Checking in

Welcome Jedswife and Holly Ayott
I'm just checking in. I've been pretty good this week.
Holly, I also am a scaleaholic! I weigh myself every day and then have a weekly average at the end of the week. Then go by a weekly loss/gain from the prior week. I "work" better doing this daily. So far this week though it "looks" like I might just be down about 2 lbs!!!! Hopefully next week will go well for each of us!
I haven't walked like I should this week either. It has rained off and and about every day this month! The ground is sooooo saturated with water it is ponding everywhere.

Chantel30, fishie48, jedswife, holly ayott, peterpan will all succeed in their goals!

I did change back my stats from the lower ones. Only because that gives me a better % to work toward again!

Best of luck on Sat/Sun.

Default Happy Monday All

My Name is Holly I live in Cape Cod Massachusetts, I have a great husband and a lovely home. I am a real estate broker constantly on the go. I am also attending Law School full time ( my third year). I have had some huge emotional road blocks this year DH and I were trying to have a baby this first time I had a miscarriage in my 16th week and the second time I had a still born in my 31st week. Both times were very hard for me to get over and therefore I am back here with even more weight than I originally started with ( hence the - progress numbers). I found this site about a year and a half ago and I lost 80 pounds, I am hoping to recapture my success as I work through my emotional issues.....

Hi All,
My name is Wendy, I was born and raised in a small town in Western Michigan where I presently live. I have been married for 25 yrs. this Dec. (my second marriage) and DH spoils me rotten! I have a near 27 yr old daughter (who divorced 2 yrs. ago and moved back home) thankfully with no children (dont' take that wrong!). I also have a 17 yr. old cat and a 5 yr. old (96 lb.) black lab/chow mix who is a big baby.

I have worked in non-profit for 10 years. First as a Claims review specialist and for the last 6 yrs of that as a Client Data Systems Manager supervising the claims/data staff and admin. ass't positions. I get to "play" in data bases a lot, which I love!! I drive about 40 min. each way every day!

I am creating a huge flower bed in my front yard (a work in progress), if the rain ever lets up here!

Holly, you have my heartfelt sympathy! I know first hand how difficult that can be. It took me several years to get pregnant then I "miscarried" my first at nearly 7 months. The Doctor said he thought the cord wrapped around his neck. They could have done an autopsy, but what would that have done really......some horrid vision for me to carry around further. So I said no.
The next year I had my daughter.

Chantal, I drop in every day or two, depends on how much time I have. I am trying not to let anymore than 2 days go by. I feel I need it. I also think I need to be more Atkins and less South Beach for a while! I have not been doing well.

I also have been under much stress of late. Issues with daughter and work load etc...

Glad to find we are all here for one another! That makes SUCH a BIG difference!
