My diet is simple, fewer than 16k calories/day, fewer than 20 carbs/day, and twice as much fat as protein.
If I hit a stall, I will spend a few days, or however many it takes not eating anything after 8PM and again before 8AM the next day. It seems the semi-fast helps break the stall.
To quit eating, find something to do with your hands, and that doesn't mean working the TV remote
Eating for entertainment breaks boredom but in the long run can mean problems for many of us. I learned to play a couple of different musical instruments and that keeps me very busy (I haven't watched any TV since 1990).
