Well... have been terribly sick, and when I get sick I eat poorly. (Too much comfort food)

Weight this morning is 268, but I am sure that is water and other stuff.
It will take me a week of working out to get back my wind, then back to losing weight!

(Still a bit sick tho... I hate colds.) =(

Still sick as a dog. 11 days of feeling like crap is quite enough!
Down to 267 this morning, yesterday evening after sleeping all day was at 265. Ate about 4400 cal yesterday though, my body was complaining at me.
Back to better eating today.
Can't wait to get over whatever this is, and back into the gym!

Sorry to hear you've been under the weather Quantum.

Had TOM this week and did resistance training everyday, weight was up to 128.6.

even though my cheat was tiny (5 pieces of a sushi roll) and I stayed on plan the rest of the day for some reason I had a gain of .5 lbs putting me at 212 for today

I think I will join this daily weigh in since I am so obsessed with the scale lately, lol.

I was 192.6 this morning, finally broke a plateau of 194 for over a week!

Keep up the good eating! Pareto's rule applies well here.
When you are on low carb, and eat soething like rice, your body will store as much of the sugar it can in your muscles as glycogen before it converts the rest to fat. Glycogen requires lots of water to be stored in your muscle.

So what happened is that you ate the rice, you body went "YAY! Better store that sugar as glycogen in the muscles... and store some water along with that!"

Therefore you gained some water weight.

If you get back to LC, you will dump the water weight as your body uses the excess glycogen store, then you will get back to fat burning.

Also, .5 lb fluctuations a day are very common. Take me for instanace:

Monday: 261.4 lb
Tuesday: 264 lb
Wed (today) 261.2 lb.
Pretty big fluctuation! But the trend is downwards over the long haul, which is good enough for me!

Keep up your hard work!

Mike
