Liver's fine if you like it (I do). And just to clarify, we don't generally "add" fat (although in the early days of ZIOH people did that). Fatty meat--just normal meat, really, not super-trimmed and super-lean--has enough fat in it.

My favorite "rule" is the last comment: Do not obsess. In the nearly six years I've been ZC, I've seen multiple times that obsession is what trips most people up. We just can't believe we're animals, and we really can manage to eat without a spreadsheet, lol.

Speaking of awesome....

with protein, your body tells you when you've had enough and you can't take another bite, but when it's vegetables, a little salt and butter makes them so good that you can end up eating a whole head of cabbage or cauliflower...

That is about the opposite of me. I have to force myself to eat the veggies, even with sauce. I have to have meat on any salad I try. Give me a good steak or chicken thigh, and I'll eat myself to stuffed and more.

Please explain in detail your eating plan. Especially the rationale for raw ground meat consumption, times per day and amounts as well as your exercise regimen.

I wouldn't recommend it from many chain stores. I like my hamburgers rare, and even then I know I might be taking a risk. The issue with ground meat is if there is any contamination, it gets blended through all the meat since it's all processed together.

Here is a recent article that might be interesting

The people I listen to here or elsewhere on the internet about ZC are those who are living it in simple basic ways & have done so for longer than a year. I've seen all kinds of opinions about people & plans sprouted by people here & elsewhere ESPECIALLY about plans they are not living themselves or about people they just don't like. I've been ZC only since 7 Dec, not long, but in my life it is a beautiful thing done as just meat+water. I feel like I've found the fountain of youth. Anything more complicated than eat meat when hungry, drink water when thirsty, & my head spins off after the last carb circling me out there somewhere in the statosphere. mo

Well, it looks like I am going back to this way of eating. I will keep heavy cream and small amounts of occasional goats cheese in my life. And condiments. But other than that, it's meat, eggs, poultry and seafood. Primarily beef and lamb though. I did this in 2009-2910 and never felt better.

Ditto. If I ever felt better, I don't remember it. Love your cat . . .

Thanks Mo..my two Leopards are quite special. I have a boy and a girl Bengal.
They eat raw Chuck and lamb or rare roast beef too! (I cook my meat though)
I have been cooking all day for a client and have to taste all his food
I thought I would plunge into vegetables and tons of cheese
But nope...at least it's all low carb food
But I spit out every morsel after tasting tiny bits
Except the Chuck roast and the lamb chunks in the lamb stew
