Hi There

It is now December & in 2 weeks I have to go back to the Dr.

Since I had the disappointing test results I found it hard to psychologically stay as motivated and on plan. BUMMER MAN.... I have gained weight & am struggling just a bit.

I'm still committed to Low Carb.

I was at 168 then & am now 172-175 Much bigger belly, too.

hi Karen-

I too had very disappointing labs after starting LC 8 years ago. My then new cardiologist told me that "you could eat bird seed and it wouldn't matter" re my labs. At that point I had lost 20 lbs on LC, and felt GREAT.

I remember on the drive home thinking " I am soooo discouraged- but screw it. I feel great on this WOE and I am going to continue anyway!" Best decision I could have made- I went on to lose a lot more and still feel great.

I refuse to allow someone else to dictate my reality!

Reclaim you body and your power!

Good luck with the labs-

E

I'll point out the obvious and say that's just an excuse. Do you imagine your labs will be better if you do the diet slip-shod?

Sometimes we need to hear the obvious... so from my mouth, er, fingers to your eyeballs.
