I am on week 6 of the plan. It does get more difficult as it goes on, but I was amazed on how much progress I have made in 6 (more like 7) weeks.

The biggest thing is sneakers. Make sure you have a new, good pair with a lot of support.

Default Day 1

Well I told myself I wanted to start the 5k challenge and today was day one. was in the gym at 545 am and after changing and stretching I hit the treadmill.I was doing great and wasnt that winded so instead of running for 60 secs and walking for 90 I switched and ran for 90 and walked for 60 . I felt great .Since starting atkins Iam down about 40 pounds, now getting my butt back in the gym I should be able to break thru the stall .After doing my time on the dreadmill(not a typo) I hit the weights and did arms today. I plan on going to the gym at least 4 days a week.Just thought I would stop in and say hi. Feel free to say hi back ....

I can't say enough about this plan. I was amazed by how quickly I made progress. Back in August, I was struggling to run more than a minute without stopping. Today, I did 5 miles, running the majority of it.

Make sure you give your body time to rest in between runs, and don't push yourself too quickly. An injury will only set you back.

Good Luck!!
