Talking Ted's Montana Grill

Well knock me up the side of the head , but I didn't know that they served BISON at this place. I also didn't know it was started by Ted Turner. We have a Ted's Montana Grill near here. I will have to check it out.

ps: They also sell a Buffalo Cookbook there.

Ted Turner has a huge buffalo ranch in northern New Mexico. He is the largest private landowner in New Mexico. His buffalo ranch in Montana is the largest private land in Montana. Ted has lots of buffalo, more than 35,000.

We have a small buffalo ranch near here, they do sell the meat, also we have a red deer ranch where you can get venison, I think I'll try both.

Bison can be raised almost anywhere... tough animals. There are many bison ranches in Kansas. I can get over there easy. That and wild deer (from Kansas) are my main red meats in my upright freezer.

I have eaten at Ted's here in FL. It was ok. Overpriced IMHO but good.

Dean I am jealous. I have a few bison steaks in my freezer but it is not as easy to come by here in FL.
