Default Signed up for a 5k!

I am still just beginning my weigh loss journey, but this is a milestone for me so I wanted to post it.

Just signed up for a 5k in October. I am going to do the 'Couch to 5K' running plan which gives me just enough time to train! Not an easy thing to do at 205lbs, but I am going to do it!!! And when I run it I will certainly NOT be 205lbs, I can tell ya that fur sure!

Thanks guys! Yeah, I have run them in the past. I used to love to run. The last one I ran was 2 summers ago and it was HARD. I was out of shape (barely trained) and was around 200lbs. Here is the link to the training program. "Couch to 5k"

You will be fine. My best 10 mile time and half marathon times were run at around 220 and 210 pounds. Weight is just one factor in successful running. Go slow, listen to your body and have fun!
