Default Power 90?

Anyone tried it or know anything about it? I am thinking of starting it:back when I was at school one of my friends wanted to put me on it but I thought that Power 90 was just too hardcore for me! But now the summer has come, and I want to look great! So I am considering purchasing it. What's your experience with it?

In a word... BORING.
There is NO background music, just Tony's nonstop bad jokes.
You get 6 tapes/CDs but there are really only 2 distinct workouts. RIPOFF.
I can't vouch for the intensity, because that's an individual thing. I found it moderate, but it may be too much or too little for others.
On the plus side, it is a good basic 3+3 workout structure. And, good form is emphasized. That's about it.

Depends... what do you like?
Turbo Jam gets raves, but the previews I've seen make it look just like TaeBo, which I hated.
The Firm offers a good mix of cardio and weights, but their quality runs hot and cold.
Cathe makes awesome high-quality step workouts, but they are high intensity, high impact, complex footwork, kick-your-butt kinda stuff.

My recommendation would be Firm's BSS2 series. It has 3 workouts and is a good mix. Skip the silly "sculpting stick" if you can. All you really need is some kind of step and some hand weights. Preview at collagevideo.com.

I actually Love the p90 series! And I was thank ful to do it and get through the 3/4, it helped me to prepare for the P90X, which in my opinion is the most extream amazing work out I have ever done.

So have u actually done the P90X...I really want to get it...but I don't want to spend the money on something that turns out not to be what it advertises...is P90X as extreme as it looks?
