Default SiZzLE in the Gym

Well, not really the gym, but at work (being in the military) and working with allllll MEN (also being in the military) and working with all services (Army, Navy, Air Force, MARINES) I have to try to keep up with them.

We started a huge chart where everday on the hour at work we have to do 10 puch-ups using these little puch up riser handle looking thingies. Well let me tell you after about 60-70 push-ups, your arms are smoked. Today I can barely lift my arms, but didn't want to wuss out and not do them with the others. I wll not give up!

I am thinking of upping the ante with 10 sit ups/crunches every hour, along with the push ups, and maybe throw in some 4 count squats too. We have a pull up bar in the back, but I don't think I am up to doing even one of those things

My arms are sore, but are starting to get some definition (I build up and tone up pretty fast when I start lifting weights or what not) My abs are benefiting as well, merely from being in and holding the "front leaning rest position" (where you are doing push ups but are not in the down position, just holding your body straight and arms straigh and hold your body up and level) and somehow even my glutes have gotten in the action as well, although I don't know how.

I walk about 2-3 mile each day at work, through the sand (good calf work out), in combat boots (heavy) and in the hot sun (sweaty). I should be taking off pounds like never before, but I am not. Hopefully one of these days my thighs will stop rubbing together

Hi! Hope you feel better soon! You're so lucky that your work accomodates so much physical activity!! I work in a stuffy office and have to giggle at the thought of some of my colleagues dropping and giving me 10 every hour!!!

Come to think of it....thigh rub isn't an issue when you're wearing control top panty hose!
