Default I was doing it wrong

I guess that's why I lost only 1 pound in the first week. I drank wine, which I thought was ok if it was dry, I've been eating too much cheese. putting too much stuff in my coffee and eating Atkins treats.

I hope to see more results now that I'm doing it right, the only thing is that I'm drinking caffeinated coffee. I don't feel like I can give that up right away, but maybe down the line. I'm having a hard enough time not eating those Atkins chocolate caramel squares that are in my kitchen cabinet :/

The good news is you found this forum in 10 days you have the rest of your life to eat this healthy way. I've probably tried to give up coffee 20 times, but always come back to it. Having some in the morning is part of a ritual, and I just enjoy the taste. The Dr Westman plan I used allowed coffee and tea, as long as the add-ins are within limits.
Whatever your living situation, get off-plans foods out of sight. Throw them out, have partner hide them, whatever...create new habits with a clean start.

We should start a club: I Started Out Wrong But Finally Figured it Out! I started out drinking Atkins shakes & Atkins bars - the name made me think they were OK. Finally got it sorted out.
