I've done a similar recipe, but without the same inner ingredients, but flattened the chicken, threw together some seasonings paired with a little cream cheese and shredded mozarella - instead of toothpicks I fold over the chicken breasts and then wrap bacon completely around them - cook for about the same amount of time, but then I broil each side of the chicken to crisp the bacon and boy is that AWESOME and so flavorable!!!

I love stuffed chicken recipes!
they look so fancy, but are super easy- i flatten them with a hammer first, too.

spinach and alouette is my favorite combo, but now i want to try yours.

Sounds like a great hubby!

Hi Rosebud - It's just a link to their facebook site: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Ski...ted_target_id=0

Dcgoodin - That sounds so good!! I'll have to try that next. I've also seen one with asparagus tucked in with cheese..wrapped in bacon.

Robin - alouette sounds awesome! Great idea. And yes, he's pretty awesome!! I'm a lucky gal!

Blackstone, we need a link to the actual recipe, as per our Kitchen Forum Rules (in a sticky at the top of this forum). Otherwise, the recipe will be removed.

Sounds amazing! It's totally perfect timing too...I just bought two big bags of spinach (on sale! and I love fresh spinach salads) and a block of pepperjack cheese. Can't wait to try it for dinner tomorrow night.
