Default For Those Who Like McDonald's McGriddles

"LcGriddles"

*You can make the bacon and pancakes a head of time & refrigerate til use*

2 slices bacon (I use turkey bacon = 0 carbs)
1 egg scrambled & cooked/folded omelette-style to fit on 4" pancake
2-4" low carb pancakes w/ sugar-free syrup blended into batter (I used Krustaez pancake mix recipe for 6-4" pancakes and mixed 1/4 C sugar-free syrup into batter before cooking)
1 slice American cheese

Assemble sandwich and microwave on high for 30 seconds - YUMMY
Total Carbs = 7 1/2 (compare to fast food's 43 Carbs!!!)

**You can substitute sausage for the bacon or leave out the meat all together ***ENJOY***

That sounds delicious. 7 carbs during induction is too much for me right now but, will save it when I up my carb intake. I love those Mcgriddles.

I just started induction on Friday, but I created this recipe a couple of weeks ago, so I can't eat it now either

here's another idea:

mix 4 oz. softened cream cheese, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons splenda and about 1/4 tsp. cinnamon til smooth. cook like pancakes in a nonstick skillet on medium heat being very careful when flipping not to tear them. the smaller you make them the less fragile they will be. slap a piece of sausage between 2 of these and you've got you a faux McGriddle! I've never tried dipping it in SF syrup but i'm sure that would just really top it off!

hope you enjoy this idea!

Sounds good! I don't dip the pancakes in the syrup though - I add the syrup to the batter before I even cook them. I'm not sure if it would work with your recipe but, hey, you never know!
