hiya Maeve. Welcome back! Thanksgiving can be treacherous...and once we give into carbs and get off track, it is hard to get back. Been there, done that. Nothing to do but treat the experience as a lesson learned and move ahead.
Take it one day at a time. No matter how beautiful the siren call of the carbs seems to be, tell yourself, you'll resist until tomorrow. Instead of anything carby, treat yourself to a nice low carb high fat snack (Cup of steamy hot broth with a tbs of butter melted in or an ounce or two of your favorite cheese or maybe a "fat bomb") and tell yourself that TOMORROW, IF you still want the carbs as badly as you do today, THEN you'll give in...but you are NOT going to give in TODAY!
You've been thru this before so you know that each day you stay OP, gets a little easier and a little easier.
