Default Lose the weight, sagging skin on arms, belly

Last time I lost 70lbs, my belly was still big, even at 168. I am now 245 and I have that 'belly apron' thing going on. I even had it when I lost down to 168. So what is a person to do----if I'd lost even MORE weight then, wouldn't it still sag?

And I've seen a lot of people who've had GBPS, and lost a ton, but they have tons of loose hanging skin on their stomachs and arms.

What is a person to do if they can't have surgery to remove the excess skin? Just live with it?

I will be in the same boat. No surgical options. So I will just have to give it time.

Molly B, I'm so sorry, but everything I have read/researched tells me that surgery is the only way to get rid of the saggy skin. Lots of people use spandex-containing undergarments to help hold it all in. The younger folks seem to have better luck in getting their skin to "shrink" than the older ones. Definitely practice good skin care in order to maximize your chances of skin shrinkage! Good luck!

Well, I won't have the $$$ for surgery, but at least I'll be thinner and healthier and that is what matters the most. I can always tuck that skin into some of those spanx or whatever they are called, LOL.
