I don't miss the binges at all and didn't have many. I just overate on portion sizes to the maxx!!
I didn't gain alot of weight until after kid when I was 43. quit work, sat on the couch, watched the baby sleep and ate and ate and ate
but when I did diet and lose 70 lbs with ow fat/low cal. I starved but did it. couldn't maintain that loss. So then I went nutso about food. obsessed over it. went insane with every stinking morsel. then I gained and gained up to 50 lbs back.
dieting made me almost have an eating disorder when I never had one. 'dieting' in the real sense is horrible for a person.
atkins. savior. way of life. eat til full and satisfied and it has controlled me now.
I believe my relationship with food is finally improving. no more obsession, no more thinking 24/7 about food. thank heavens for a plan that fits me and has balanced me back out.
