Default Frustrated?

I know how hard dieting can get.
I used to have cut out photos of swimsuit models from magazines on my bedroom door so that every time I felt like eating I would just look at those photos and stay motivated . Well, it was a bad idea and I know that now. Each person has an ideal weight and sometimes you just have to learn to live with the fact that you'll never be a size 0. However, I do believe in trying to live a healthy lifestyle and I believe that diets can be helpful as long as they don't turn into punishment. Obsessing over your weight is not healthy. Weighting yourself everyday to see the tiniest progress is not healthy either, because if the scale doesn't move it can lead to frustration and a feeling that all your efforts up to that point have been useless.

Try to enjoy your life, turn exercising into a fun experience, like a day out in the park with the kids or morning jogging with a couple of friends. If you have to weight yourself daily, simply use that quantum scale, the one that doesn't show your weight but secretly records it and lets you know your progress (I know I saw it on Tyra's). Don't give up your favorite food, if it's not good for you, eat less but don't completely remove it from your diet or you might start to feel depressed. Most of all, stay positive and don't let your weight run your life.
