Ken: I find that so interesting about having a high calorie, high fat, non-weight-loss period 3 days before a cholesterol lab...with it leading to better numbers. I will be interested to see if it worked again this year.

Welcome Peterborou. Interesting goal. Say, do you want to give yourself any passes, or just plan to go for broke 90 days straight? Good luck either way!

Ken: One more thing. Can you share your flax muffin recipe, please. I am making one with flaxseed, almond flour, baking soda, an egg and some oil. I like it, but want to experiment. I remember seeing one on a plate of food you showed, and it looked so good.

CLICK HERE for a link to a thread where I posted the basic mug muffin recipe that I used. CLICK HERE for a flax muffin discussion in my old journal where I started baking them in jumbo muffin pans.

I never make the base muffin. I'm always throwing stuff in and experimenting. Sometimes they turn out great, sometimes not. I don't eat them as often as I used to, but they are still part of my current OP food rotation. They are the closest thing to cake that I will ever eat. When I get it right they can come very close to what I remember cake being like. The difference is that I can say no to seconds when it is a flax muffin.

Hi my fist days was a success. I kept my lips together until I sat down to eat my meal,and I did not eat after dinner. My observation is when I think of eating compulsively as has been my habit, it is accompanied with a physical feeling. Almost a descending into the depths or a stress feeling. Yesterday I quickly dismissed it and then pondered that feeling while I made what turned out to be a really great meal. Thanks for this workshop.

Only LC sanctioned pizza, no other.
Goof ups allowed: 3, but not more than 2 pcs.

Would like to add on:

1 T flax every morning. 10 misses allowed.

Adding on 1 serving of lc vegies a day. Minimum.

For next 60 days, allowing 4 goofs.

goal: 15 min of creative writing, research or extracting writing from journal notes 5 days a week for my project/s

20 min spent jotting down notes for project 1, trying to remember the flurry of thoughts and ideas that were bouncing around in my head this morning while I was getting ready for work - there was no time to sit and jot them down then. I forgot at lunch. I was also writing a little, editing a little, and taking out some early notes about main characters professions, stats, - I don't like trying to do a description of them and about them right off the bat because these things come with time, you find what fits and what doesn't, things change as you go along, I am finding...

There is always a little voice in my head that says, who are you trying to kid, you will fail at this too. BUT today I am pleased as punch! I stuck to my 90 day good habit and am even down a bit on the scales. hope every one has a great day!

The mission: Consistency/ketogenic eating
The rules: Eat less than 25 net carbs per day and less than 15 net carbs at any one meal.
Other parameters: I will give myself up to 10 passes/exceptions throughout the 90 day period, but they cannot be used on consecutive days. These are not free-for-all days, but an allowance to take into account that perfection is not required.

Passes used: 0 of 10

Yesterday: 25 net carbs, 55 Total carbs.
