The mission: Consistency/ketogenic eating
The rules: Eat less than 25 net carbs per day and less than 15 net carbs at any one meal.
Other parameters: I will give myself up to 10 passes/exceptions throughout the 90 day period, but they cannot be used on consecutive days. These are not free-for-all days, but an allowance to take into account that perfection is not required.

Passes used: 0 of 10

Yesterday: 17 net carbs, 60 Total carbs. Yep, that's a lot of fiber.

Yesterday: 24 net carbs, 82 Total carbs, 4000 calories (mostly from fat) on purpose. I have cholesterol labs in 3 days. Borrowing ideas from the Dave Feldman protocol, a high calorie, high fat, non-weight-loss period 3 days before a cholesterol lab will result in better numbers. It worked last year. Interested to see if it works again this year.

I am in! This is a good idea. My 90 day commitment is to break a decades old habit of over eating by snacking while I prepare dinner.
I commit..
From the time I come home from work, till the time I go to bed I will eat only one meal. A consciously prepared dinner on a plate ( LCHF). No snacking while I prepare it. No snacking after I eat it.
In the past I have literally begged myself and god to let me just do this.
But never tried journaling so here goes. thanks for setting this up

Hey welcome PETERBOROUGH - This is a nice and precise thing to practice, small and well defined. It will be interesting to see how your mind works; what thinkings or feelings preceded the snacking if it happens. Don't worry if it does, this will allow practice to see how mind works and maybe how to change or redirect a pattern. Good luck to you and have fun with it!

Off day yesterday. Got my steps in but ate too much on plan food (still under 25 net) and went to bed late. I need to get back on track.

Yesterday: 25 net carbs, 67 Total carbs. Today is the last "big eating" day before my cholesterol labs. Tomorrow I'll be cutting way back to shed some weight before the April 14 10K.
