My 90 day challenge:

3 goofs used
Only LC sanctioned pizza, no other.
Goof ups allowed: 3, but not more than 2 pcs.
zero goofs left.

Would like to add on:
1 goofs used
1 T flax every morning. 10 misses allowed.
9 misses left

Adding on 1 serving of lc vegies a day. Minimum.
1 goofs used
For next 60 days, allowing 4 goofs.

So I guess that's 4/5 of my freebies used up, but at least I'm conscious of it. That was sort of the point of joining this challenge - indulging in poorer choices a handful of times over 3 months is a lot different from doing it almost daily.


Loved so much of what you said. Yes, so good to be conscious of the freebies used. I am hoping it is only a handful of times for me too. I feel pretty confident.

LOL The limits do keep us on track... or it does for me. When my limits on pizza was met, I got serious about NOT eating standard Pizza.

I'll be generous with the "activity" - I did some serious decluttering of the spare room (which has become the dumping ground) and made several trips to the dumpster (we're in a townhouse unit with dumpsters in the middle of the parking lot.)

I can't wait until it warms up enough that I can walk or ride my bike to work again.

Good insights from the practice period, thanks Ken. What I've learned in the quarter year is that eating before noon most of the my activity happening during that time and after doesn't work for me, or at least I can't seem to work it out. I've abandoned the approach for now but may take it up at a later time if my lifestyle becomes more sedentary and structured. Another detriment to too much physical activity is that it takes away from time that could be used being quiet and restful - and spurs the mind to think of more ways to get activity. This is craving.

I plan on picking up again with a three month period starting Apr 1 - I'm considering eliminating dairy from my diet and see what comes of that from 90 days of practice.

Notes: Went to Costco today. Had a very small cup of caramel corn...probably six pieces. Then had 1/4 salmon burger (mini burger). I ate about a fourth of the bun (which was only a 1/4 of the bun to begin with). Took one small bite of a Perogie and then threw it away. Bypassed all the other stations offering free snacks. Wasn't even tempted. I accounted for the carbs and was pleased I was in pretty good control.

goal: 15 min of creative writing, research or extracting writing from journal notes 5 days a week for my project/s.

15 min on research, watching videos, looking to hear what sounds were present, mostly. Project 1.

Ken, I missed your 90th day! Good job - I am waiting to see what you want to do next. Thud, good to hear from you, See you on Apr. 1. to everyone else! You guys pick a lot harder things than I think I could do at this point...
