Default At Last a positive article re Atkins in the Daily Mail today !!!

There is a two page spread today, all about the positive sides of the Atkins Diet. It is written by a reporter who is sucessfully following the WOL and has seen the results. Seems alot more balanced and acurate view of what the Atkins plan is actually about !!!

With a bit of luck perhaps the tide is changing or is that just wishful thinking on my part.......

a friend turned up looking svelte and godlike and said he was on this diet-the no carb thing.so i did it.it was brilliant.you die of a heart attack, but so what?you die thin!
good old bob.never minces words.

I read the article in The Mail and think that it was accurate. She didn't pretend to know all the science behind it and had had to run the gauntlet of people telling her how dangerous it was . She carried on though and lost weight. I was interested to see the quote attributed to Oprah - saying it didn't work. How many diets has she said that about in the past? She's OK now though, she now has a chef preparing her meals and a personal trainer to put her through her paces every day!

Oh what does Oprah know about losing weight ON HER OWN? Not all of us have the money and the time to pay others to lose our weight for us.

If only he could read too... he'd know the evidence strongly points to low-carbing reducing the risk of heart attack. Kind of sad when folk who are meant to be in favour of the diet add fuel to the flames instead...

Fantastic the Mail printed a counter to their original damning of it though!
