Default more fat please

I was wondering how you can eat more fat without going crazy with too much protein. Should I just add more butter to things or fattier protein?

Hi, yes. Those are perfect examples. But, why do you feel you need more fat? Are you not satiated? If your current eating is keeping you satisfied, it isn't really necessary to load in more fat. If you're hungry, then by all means, add some. If not, your body will get fat from your body - thus, you will lose weight, as I see you've already done. Congratulations!

Hi samika, if you are satisfied with the amount and style of protein you are getting now you can add some fat by asking or looking for it in the meat department. I've been experimenting NOT using coconut, plam or olive to cook with instead, taking some rendered or raw animal fat and using it instead.

This is a recent purchase...

Agree with this, a further explanation why you don't need to force the fat here: https://lowcarbrn.wordpress.com/201...-force-the-fat/

But if you are still hungry, an easy add is an extra T. of olive oil to a salad.

Samika, Your profile says LC since 2007..did you recently re-start and are your stats correct? If you have questions about the plan, there is a good summary of Atkins right here: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=236482 If you share more details maybe we can all help make suggestions for a plan to help you reach your health goals. All the best,
