I missed this comment Thud - ya, avocados are not on my plan (at least the losing part of it) and I suspect I best stop eating them for now...I think they combine poorly for me. Love them though.

Italian Sausage Pie (Pat's recipe) - I made it without the cauli crust. Cauliflower gives me issues which is seriously unfortunate!!! I'll still use it but not if I have to go anywhere...

A square of a breakfast frittata concoction I created. I think I posted the recipe in my journal - it has goat cheese, homemade breakfast sausage (god bless Kroger for the many pounds of plain ground pork I bought I froze, at just 99 cents/pound this past Spring), mini-sweet bell pepper and scallion.

DH has pronounced the recipe a "keeper".

Coconut milk, chia seeds - mixed it last night, ate it today. Seems like it was too high in carbs for me.

I had some chicken deli meat, and a square of 90% dark chocolate + some almonds. Being a real adult here.

VLC.MD , I bought chia seed at Bulk Barn almost a year ago and totally forgot about it in the back of my cupboard. I'll have to drag it out and take it for a spin. It was expensive. I should at least use it.

I've done that with HC, a chai tea bag, and chia seeds - pretty good.

Today - 2-egg egg salad and steamed broccoli w/butter
