I read it, but I'm far from ready to enter the boyd blitz. With another 25kgs to go, I think I have to wait just a little bit longer.

I saw a copy at the gym but was really put off by the inaccurate dietary information and the low carb diet bashing in the issue I read. In answering a question on whether there was anything in not eating carbs and fats/protein together, the magazine source said there was no scientific basis. Considering that carbs are what makes your body release insulin, which is the signal and chemical for the body to store fat, I'd say she is pretty uninformed. I won't be reading it again.

Hi, I would love to do it with you, I read that mag all the time. And I think entering a comp will be a really good motivator.
I live in Melbourne. I'm doing the South Beach.

Cant wait to hear from you!

Hi Bella,

Thanks for the offer! The only thing is, I entered last year. I didn't complete it though. Maybe this year? I've still got another 4.5kgs to go, then I plan to do my best on Maintainance. Then, when ready, I'll re-enter it in the aims of toning up.

Having said that, whereabouts in Melbourne are you? Cos if you're near by, I'm always on the lookout for a buddy A walking buddy, cycling, gymming, pilates, coffee, anything really

Let me know
