Had one this week. Tasted good, unlike some yucky diet alternatives sometimes do. Its a bit smaller than a bread based 6 inch sub and I found it not as filling as the bread based 6 inch sub I used to have for lunch but then I was having a late lunch and was hungrier than normal.

Hi Willow,

Someone found this info on the Subway wraps, but it does relate to the US Product.

SUBWAY Atkins-Friendly Menu
Net Carbs Information

AtkinsŪ-Friendly Wraps Serving Size (g) Net Carbs*
Turkey Breast & Ham Wrap 260 10carbs
Chicken and Bacon Ranch Wrap 256 8carbs
Turkey Breast and Bacon Melt Wrap 242 11carbs
AtkinsŪ-Friendly Wrap (alone) 70 5carbs

Here in Australia, we go by the displayed carb counts, as the fibre has already been subtracted on our nutritional lables.
The info above relates to "Net-Carbs", and products used in the US.

Others are looking into the exact carb counts... especially for the wraps.

When I find out, I will post it here.

Willow,
Hello and welcome, and I believe Losingit is right, I know i've tried the turkey wrap and it was delicious,,,and the best part is was low carb...a friend of mine has one everday for lunch and it was getting rather expensive so she buys her own wraps now *Low carb* and cooks up bacon ahead of time and makes them herself...you'll find some great recipes on the forum..good luck

I had my first low carb Subway (chicken and bacon ranch)today. It actually wasn't bad at all. The tortilla goes soggy pretty quickly but as it's so thin you've got to expect that. I'm thinking next time I might ask them to custom-make me a tuna wrap with lettuce and mayo. I'd go thousand island dressing but suspect there may be a little too much sugar in that one.

I've tried one of those chicken and bacon ranch ones.

Not bad.

At least it's a step in right direction for us in OZland!

I tried the bacon ranch one. Went real light on the ranch as I had no idea what was in it. The Flyer on the wall says carb counts are with all salads so I figured I saved a gram or two by skipping raw onion and olives.

There was no change in my ketostix results, well no change from what normally happens in the afternoon. I felt very uncomfortable eating the tortilla it just felt strange.

Hi there,
I was gonna make a thread but saw this one.
I'm in NZ and there is a add on TV for Subways new wrap saying it has 11 net carbs. What does "net carbs" mean?

Net Carbs is an American thing, and UK too i think ?

Net Carbs = Total Carbs minus Fibre

Eg, 100g of 'XYZ' contains 50g total carbs, yet it also contains 25g Fibre. Therefore net carbs would be 25g (50g - 25g)

Are the wraps good on induction? Also, the wrap tasted so good, was I supposed to ask specifically for something atkins cause it just tasted like a normal wrap.
