I went to the ASDA website and found one Cadbury cocoa powder, I think it's on the chocolate drinks page in a reddish color jar. Here's their product code number: 665968. Good luck-it's a great thing to have in the pantry.

Are you looking at the actual list of ingredients or the nutritional panel?

As cocoa powder is made from a seed it will probably have some carbs listed "from sugar" even when there is no sugar added to it. These are just the natural sugars (net carbs) that most plant material has.

Ghiradelli's natural unsweetened cocoa doesn't have any added sugar. It has 15 calories and 3 grams of carbs and 1 gram of fiber in 1 Tbs.

Just realized this is a U.K. forum - it may not be available. Try the baking sections of the grocery stores.

Personally, I use Cadbury's Cocoa Powder.

However, Valrhona's cocoa powder is 100% unsweetened, but obviously much more expensive.

You're right, Ghiradelli's natural unsweetened cocoa is not available in the UK.

Oh no, cocoa powder has sugar??

I did not know that! Well, the kind I have (just got it out of my cupboard to be sure) is Hershey's Cocoa Powder. For ingredients listed it says "cocoa".

I bought it at walmart. It says 0g sugar. I hope that's true!

No, cocoa powder (used for baking and cooking) does not have any sugar. Cocoa or hot chocolate drink mix is usually sweetened with sugar or a substitute

Waitrose sell an unsweetened cocoa powder too - ingredients state "cocoa" nothing else!
