Hi Jesse, thanks for your reply. No not as yet, the variations seem to be so huge, from almost only fat to, cakes and lollies. I was just looking for a healthy eating plan, as close to normal eating as possible because I love my fruit and vegetables, .with a higher protien intake because it supresses hunger. I am wheat intolerant but I do normally eat oats, rye, potatoes, rice abd pulses. Do you or anybody else out there have any suggestions. I have started keeping a food diary (A bought one for 10 weeks) so that should help me keep track of what I am eating, I just want to tweek my current eating plan to maximise fatburning. Any suggestions welcome. Regards, Dzintra

Hi all, I'm from South Oz
I just joined this site today. I'm on the Atkins plan and I think it's really great. I went on Atkins about 2 years ago and lost 25kg! I was able to maintain my weight after I went off it, which was a huge breakthru for me (after trying heaps of fad diets over the years and ALWAYS putting the weight back on plus more). Unfortunately because of some emotional and health issues I put on about 10kg over the last 6 months, so I have just gone back on the Atkins plan. I've been on it for 5 days and have already lost 2kg!
I hope you are all having success too, I will keep you up to date with mine.
Goodluck, Moodles

there are a few of us Aussies around... Even a few from Perth (there is at least me, my husband and 2 others that I know of, that live in Perth).

My husband and I tend to stick around the Paleo section though. Where abouts in Perth do you live? I am NoR.

Hi all,

I'm in Sydney and newly diagnosed as Insulin Resistant due to PCOS - anyone else in the same boat?? Looking to try Atkins as Diaformin doesn't seem to be effecting weight loss and am NOT impressed with the doctor giving me the Low GI Diet booklet - I haven't touched bread/pastas et al in years as it is!!!

Em
