Default HAS ANYONE SEEN ALMOND BREEZE (milk substitute/drink) in OZ or NZ?

It comes in a box like soya milk does but is made from Almonds.

I can't say I've specifically seen this brand (I don't pay enough attn) but I have seen almond milk for sale at my local Coles. Surely if you can't find it in any of your specialty shops there would be places online that would provide it for you

No such luck - we have such a poor choice but I was thinking if it was in Australia I could get my husband to get some as he goes over a couple of times a year!!

He usually stays at a Hotel on Collins Street - where did you see it? And I am trying to rack my brains as to where there's a decent sized Coles close to town.

Now I'll just have to tell him to take a large suitcase!!!

Like everything else, it's well worth reading the labels. The only almond milk I've seen (in Coles and Woolworths) is pretty high in carbs.

Have you looked into making your own? Google will help you with instructions.

Thanks for the idea - I'm off to look it up too, I don't tend to buy the substitute products as they are often full of additives that I want to avoid but I do have a good supplier of organic raw almonds locally.

I have seen one almond beverage on the market in NZ - can't remember the name and have never looked at the label. In Pak n Save it's on the shelves near the UHT and milks and soy beverages. I think I also saw it in my local New World the other day. (Sorry, can't bring myself to call them milks ).
