Default thyroid issues in australia

Just wondering...

I've not been able to lose weight this time around despite being totally on plan for months. GP ordered thyroid and general hormone tests today.

I've been reading the posts on thyroid disease on this site. I'm wondering whether anyone knows whether the tests are called something different here. There seems to be nothing like what they are calling tests ordered for me. Wonder if I need to go back and educate my GP or whether it's just different here.

Also...should it turn out I have an underactive thyroid, is Armour (the natural, non/synthetic medication) available here?

Any insight would be appreciated. Guess you'll see this Rozzie...Feel free to lob right in

Thanks a bunch!

There are a number of Thyroid stimulating "Natural" Suppliments available in BodyBuilding Supplimemt Stores. Also THYROMINE is said to assist in boosting "sluggish" thyroid.
