Smile ~ filled with love ~

I feel so filled with love surfing the TDC forum today.

There is so much support here, so many inspiring stories and shared concerns.

I've grown to know many of you over the last year, made real friends, I'm happy to say ... and even the folks I've never or rarely corresponded with directly, I have a sense of who you are, what you care about, what your weight loss journey has been like. Thank you for sharing your lives.

My life feels enriched and I'm so grateful for you all.

I have to agree. This is such a safe space. People here are or were right where I am and that is such a comfort!

It is a pretty amazing forum, isn't it? I've been on a couple of other bulletin boards, but they never, ever felt as safe and welcoming as this one did. I felt I fit in here almost right away. It really is a wonderful forum, I feel very lucky to have found you guys!

I agree! I've been pretty busy lately and haven't been able to post as much as I'd like, but I do try to pop into a few of the threads. Everyone here is just so warm, welcoming and honest. I think the honesty is what I like the best. Whether it's a swift kick in the hiney or a warm hug, we can get it all here. Yay for us!

This forum--and the people I've met through it--are the only things that keep me going sometimes. Even when I don't post, I'm still reading and thinking.

I had an opportunity yesterday to spend more time reading and learning from the fine group of friends among these page than I have in a long time. I have long known what a great group of caring and sharing people this place is...but sometimes it is nice to be able to let them know they are really appreciated.
AntiM, thanks for starting this thread.
TDC, you are much appreciated.

it really is great here. even tho ive only been here a month, i feel so connected to everyone. i was overwhelmed with the initial welcome i got here. alot of other message boards i've visited are so cliquey and at this one, thats not the case at all. i love it

I must say that I agree. I turn to the forum several times each day for support, information, accountability and friendship. I know that I would not suceed with out it. I know my friends and family get tired of hearing "another pound lost" , "I didn't cheat today" and "I'm thinking about Oil of Oregano". They think I am nuts and can not relate. But you guys can (and do). I am very grateful for this forum and you all in the TCD.

Thanks for this thread, Monika! I love this place and the friendly folk who populate this forum. Even tho I went missing for about a month, it feels good to be back home and reading the words of wisdom from my fellow LC'rs.

I really like coming here also. It helps me stay on track. I never thought I would ever get to where I am now, but due to other people's support and posts, I now know that I can make it, know to expect some stalls and what to do about them, etc.

I just feel so much better equipped for weight loss this time around. The support here is awesome. Marty

This forum has been a godsend to me. The best thing about it is that it is available 24/7 and there is always support and concern. It has gotten me through many a rough day!
