Geez, Larry. Has anyone ever used the words "obsessive-compulsive" in your presence?!?!?!?!?

I have to say, though, I'm impressed with your knowledge and grasp of the very complex information!

Glad to have you on OUR team!!!

They may have invented the term just for me. (see engineer comment below )
But then if you look at the photo I took of the inside of my house, it is in one of the threads on suddenlaunch - think in the Long Road Forum, you would think WHAT A MESS!!!, how could that be the same person.

Well I am an Engineer, twice over with full BS degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. I have always been interested in science, a lot from my father who was a Mechanical Engineer but he was also an amateur radio operator back in the days when the "hams" made their own equipment. I also am lucky in that Wes, my friend also an EE, gave me a copy of The Textbook of Human Physiology by Guyton, which is the textbook the medical doctors use in med school. That has helped me a lot in navigating the subtilties of the PP/PPLP diet. To help with the chemistry in that text,I bought a biochemistry book by Lipponcott which helped fill in some of the details missing in Guyton. While I was not all that good in chemistry, I also am not afraid of it either. Then the other thing about me is that I taught one year in college and loved it. Again I got that from my dad, he seemed to never give you the simple answer, especially when he thought you did not have the full back ground to fully understand the answer. I do the same, much to the chagrin of my kids when the were little.
