Thanks, Cleve--this is exactly the kind of feedback that I'm looking for.
I've lost weight using a regular workout routine, and I've lost it not exercising--so as to whether it's vital or not, that point can, I suppose, be argued. But as I lose weight, I feel more like moving and using my body.
The thought hit me recently when I saw a pound drop on the scale, "Yes, but a pound of what?" Which I think is my own way of telling me it's time to ramp it up. I have no preconceived notions against weight training, and I think it can be fun and satisfying (with the caveat that some people have done their joints and tendons harm by going about it the wrong way.)
I am also starting to aspire to more than just being able to `pass as normal'--I'd like to be one of those people that have an amazing physique, strong muscles, that `coiled spring' quality of latent energy, vibrancy--at least to the extent that I am able.
Good to hear that you are finding value in the program but still staying LC.
BTW, absolutely fantastic job with the weight loss. Congratulations on your success.
