I've been doing a lot of reading about PCOS. So much that I am as confused as ever. I did read that I should have blood tests done 2 - 4 days AFTER my period has started. Any other suggestions? My appointment is this Wednesday and I am very excited - hoping to finally find an answer as to why I only have 3 - 4 periods a year, a beard & mustache, boil like acne, depression, dark spots on my neck, irregular heart beat, etc..... This appointment is for a yearly exam, and will get a script for blood work so when I do have a period, I can just go in without an appointment.
