Thumbs up

Hi, back on the boards after years of being off LC and regaining most of the weight. So I started Carb-Cycling by advise of a good friend who was successful losing 30 lbs in 4 months.

I am still "learning" but have managed to lose 4 lbs. This thread has been chock full of info.

I've been carb cycling for about 2 weeks and have lost 7 pounds. I'm gradually decreasing the carb grams I eat on low-carb days and increasing the number of days I eat low-carb before high-carb day.

Today was a high carb day. I ate my fill of fruit, had some pasta soup and even a cupcake, making sure to stay within my calorie limit. As much as I enjoyed these foods, I find that I'm REALLY looking forward to going back to protein and fat tomorrow.

To all those interested in Carb Cycling, I have started a Carb Cycling challenge over on the the Buddies and Challenges Board. There is an outline of the basics of carb cycling, one I have used before and did quite well with. It is easy to follow and fit into your life in my opinion. If you would like to join the challenge, come see me there. I was hoping we could encourage each other and learn from each other to make this THE year to lose the weight and really keep it off. Go 2011!!
