I've been nervous to do a low carb diet. I have heard that it won't work for women. Obviously it does.

I am looking for support for women my size (5'7" 218lbs) who have had success.

What do you do for exercise?

Thanks,

Bunny

I'm not your size but I am one of many women who can attest the LC WORKS!

Plus I get to say I'm almost 50, peri/menopausal. It still works.

My sister who is 54. 5'8 has lost 20 pounds since Dec 18th.

Exercise? I walk the dog and swim.

Progress not perfection.

Lisa

Welcome

It works.
Believe me, it works wonders.
I started at 285, lost over 100 pounds and have maintained it for quite some time.

Walking, biking, and whatever other exercise you enjoy works.
Take it one day at a time, and try not to get discouraged if you lose slow.

Start yourself a journal, take yourself some "before" pictures...and read and post and enjoy the forum

Hi Bunny, welcome and yes LC works for us gals. On the exercise I walk alot. I am just now getting into lifting weights. Honestly I didn't do much exercise until I lost 50lbs. Make sure to come back and ask the boards if you have any questions or run into problems. The info is here. Good luck to you!
