Talking Green Bean and Asparagus Casserole

I needed something different from steamed veggies. This is yummy...

Dissolve one boullion cube (chicken) in a little water. Add 2 Tblsp of Half and Half. Add 3 Tblsp of Cream Cheese and heat until mixed and melted.

In a pie dish, mix a can of green beans and a can of asparagus (the tips and spears). Crumble 2 slices of bacon over top and press some garlic over... top with a little sharp cheddar, about an ounce. Pour cream mixture over top.

Melt butter (tblsp or so) in the micro. Add crumbled pork rinds until you get a nice crumble mixture. Top the casserole and bake at 400 until the top is nice a golden.... about 30-40 minutes. If you have carbs to spare, you can add slivered almonds, red pepper, jack cheese, any number of things. This is the very basic version. You can add chicken or ham and make it a meal...

Total dish:
540 Cals
36g Fat
27g Carbs (only 16g ECC)
32g Protein

Each serving (4 servings)
135 Cals
9g Fat
6.5g Carbs (4g Carbs minus Fiber)
8g Protein
